I’m a big fan of this New York Times Connect Puzzlegenerally prefer it to Wordle. Here’s my hot take: I actually like how the purple categories get really weird and pick a theme like “Girls’ names minus one letter” or “1980s bands spelled backwards” or something like that thing. I may not always get this category, at least not right away, but when I see it revealed I give the puzzle makers a silent thumbs up for their weird designs. Yes, that’s today’s tip, why ask?
