Some specialize in one type of hosting, e.g. WordPress Hostingso they are not suitable for hosting non-WordPress websites or accommodating their long-term growth. Others have extremely high renewal costs or lack certain types of customer service. Pay close attention to the details when choosing one of these hosts.

Namecheap offers some of the cheapest pricing plans. The monthly plans are especially cheap compared to the monthly plans of other services. Some other services may offer shared hosting plans for $20 per month, but all Namecheap shared hosting plans cost less than $10 per month. Namecheap also offers VPS, dedicated, WordPress, and reseller hosting plans. Namecheap offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee for VPS and reseller plans, and a 100% uptime guarantee for most shared, VPS and dedicated plans.

GoDaddy is also the only web host on this list that you can contact via text message, and we found customer service to be very responsive during our stay GoDaddy Review. GoDaddy’s server performance is also impressive.
One of the big drawbacks of GoDaddy is the inconsistency of some of its security features. For example, all shared hosting plans include an SSL certificate, but for lower-level shared plans, you have to purchase an SSL certificate after one year, regardless of the length of your hosting contract. SSL certificates are also a paid option in lower-tier VPS and dedicated hosting plans, but they are included in higher-tier options.

All of this looks great, but our review process revealed serious issues with InMotion Hosting, including slow server speeds and up to an hour and 12 minutes of downtime during our testing week. InMotion Hosting customer support cannot be contacted either.
