The future of Spain is Club executives debate after tuesday Lost 1-3 away to Leicester City.
The Hammers sit 14th in the Premier League table and have won just one of their past five games heading into Monday’s home match against second-bottom Wolves.
Lopetegui left Wolves shortly before the start of the 2023-24 season after just nine months in charge.
Asked whether he would leave West Ham after taking over from David Moyes in May, the 58-year-old Spaniard said: “You’re talking about a very different situation.
“I’ve always had a huge commitment to my job and I’m delighted to be staying at West Ham United. We’re going to change that.”
When Lopetegui was told he had one game left to save his job, he replied: “I’m not thinking about it. I think we have a very important challenge on Monday against a good team. ”
“We have to focus on giving a good answer and do our job before Monday to be ready to face them and give our fans a good day.
“I know everything about football and I understand that my main goal and responsibility is to be ready for a difficult game.
“But again, it’s a huge opportunity and a challenge for us at home to get ready to get the three points. That’s the most important thing.”
West Ham fans have become frustrated with the team’s style of play since Lopetegui took over in May, with the Hammers recording four wins and seven losses in 14 league games so far this season.
They have lost two games since the 2-0 win at Newcastle and now face Everton on Wednesday, having beaten Wolves 4-0.
“I have nothing to say about my players,” said former Real Madrid and Spain coach Lopetegui. “I accept responsibility and pressure. That’s why I became a coach.
“Of course we’re not happy and of course the fans are always right. That’s why I think, so far, they’ve given us a lot more than we’ve given them.
“We have to change that and we’re looking for that.”
