Frank Lampard seeks redemption as Coventry City manager
Lampard’s coaching journey began with Derby County, leading them to the 2019 Championship play-off final, where they lost to Aston Villa.
He was then lured back to Chelsea and went on to become the club’s all-time record goalscorer with 211 goals in 648 games, winning 11 major trophies, including three Premier League titles and the 2012 Champions League.

Although Everton performed well the following season, the team fell into recession again and Lampard was sacked less than 12 months after the team finished second from bottom in the Premier League.
Lampard may now view his second interim spell at Chelsea as a dominant player at the core. He ended up losing a situation with seemingly nothing to lose.
