FPl gameweek 13 tips and team of the week: Joao Pedro, Marcus Rashford and Matheus Cunha come in

Marcus Rashford, Manchester United, £6.9m – Everton home

Yes, I was playing with fire a bit by beating Manchester United for the second time in three weeks, but against Leicester it paid off.

Rashford would become a viable option in FPL if he doesn’t fit as a forward in the new United squad.

This game could be a defensive classic from Sean Dyche, but an early goal should help United score some goals.

Bukayo Saka, Arsenal, £10.2m – away to West Ham United

Is Saka a regular captain? only Triple-digit double-digit returns this season suggest no.

Is Saka a top-notch, reliable FPL asset? Yes – he is undoubtedly the Gunners’ best forward option.

The England midfielder, who impressed against Forest last week and in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon, is back in action after a quiet few weeks.

Saka leads Arsenal in almost every attacking statistic. My favorite was the 29 shots in the penalty area – more than 2 per game.

Cole Palmer, Chelsea, £10.9m – Aston Villa home

Palmer drew three blanks in a row. Prior to that, he scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists in 9 games.

He was too involved in Chelsea’s attack, preventing the team’s poor performance from continuing and Villa conceding 10 goals in their last three games.

Bryan Mbeumo, Brentford, £7.9m – Leicester City home

It’s been a week of games and past performances over form as Mbemo has returned for just one of his past three games.

But the Cameroonian striker has performed well this season and faced a Leicester City side with a poor defense.

You’d be right to think Mbemo had a poor game for Brentford over Christmas, but he’s earned another game in the Team of the Week.

James Maddison, Tottenham, £7.6m – Fulham home

Madison has been an enigma this season. An early substitution, a substitute role in a brilliant home game, he then came on at the Etihad Stadium and scored twice.

The England international ranks fifth in the midfield scoring charts with 68 points and Ange Postecoglou will surely select him for the home game against Fulham, with Spurs supposed to be in the driver’s seat.

Madison has scored over six points in every start this season and is worth a try.
