Football team swims in flooded pitch
Footballers from Gloucestershire Lidney Town AFC refused to let Stormy Burt stop them from taking to the pitch this weekend.
Video showed players heading the ball back and forth and swimming in waist-deep floodwaters.
“Can’t believe I’m saying this… but the game is on! The teams are out and the game is about to begin,” the club shared the video on X.
