Tiger Woods says he is “disappointed” to miss next month’s Hero World Challenge in Albany, Bahamas.
The 15-time Grand Slam champion hosts the unofficial event featuring 20 of the world’s top players and is widely expected to receive an exemption from the tournament, which begins on December 5.
The 48-year-old American did not specify a reason for his absence, but he has maintained a limited schedule over the years due to multiple injuries.

“I’m disappointed not to be able to compete this year, but have been looking forward to being a tournament host,” Woods wrote on X.
