Luke Littler beats Mike de Decker to reach Players Championship semi-finals
Luke Littler maintained his fine form to reach the semi-finals of the Players Championship at Minehead with a 10-3 victory over Mike de Decker.
The 17-year-old sealed victory with a bullseye finish of 124, leaving his opponent shaking his head and smiling at his smooth dominance.
“I’m really happy with another great performance. I’m still young – I’m just enjoying every minute of being on the big stage. My confidence is really high and my darts are going well,” the British teenager told ITV4.
Littler will be seeking an 11th title in his first career season this month and a second major TV ranking victory after claiming the Grand Slam trophy a week ago.
He will later face Scott Williams or Ross Smith for a spot in the final, which will also take place on Sunday night.
Luke Humphreys, who defeated Littler in the World Championship final in January, will face Ryan Joyce for a spot in the last four on Sunday afternoon.
