As the latest member HP Poly Studio Family, X52 video BAR provides advanced all-in-one solutions for mid-sized meeting rooms. Take over from the Studio X50, which features a rising 20MP 4K UHD camerathe more powerful Qualcomm 865 CPUimproved dynamic framework algorithms, advanced microphone and Wi-Fi 6 support.
There is little to separate except for the larger cameras, but at 95°, the X52’s FOV (field of view) is narrower than the X50. This is because the X52 is designed to provide higher resolution when amplifying participants at the far end of the conference table.
Its microphone array claims to be a pick-up range of six meters, while the sound output is processed by two 20W ported speakers. You have two HDMI ports Dual display Supports host connection support, HDMI-IN and USB-C, Gigabit network ports and Poly’s optional extended microphone ports. It’s easy to access at the rear.
The X52 runs Poly’s Android-based VideoOS software, which supports BYOD (bring your own device) mode and includes a built-in video application. The guest list is impressive, including Microsoft Team, Zoom Room, Google Meet, gotoroom, ring room and Bluejeans room.
Deployment is simple: you connect to the power supply and network, wait for a minute, then boot for a minute, and point the browser to its IP address. The web interface renders the system status dashboard in an application with active video, then move to the Provider section and select another application from the drop-down list.
You can swap them as needed, and although it needs to be restarted, it only takes two minutes to regain access. When the X52 feels a USB connection, BYOD mode can always be swapped to it automatically and once it is finished, it can exit the application.
By registering the X52 as our lens portal account, we manage the X52 without a doubt. You can remotely manage all multiple devices, assign them to websites and rooms, run remote firmware updates, and upgrade to Advanced Lens Services for detailed analysis.
We tested Microsoft Team And assign it to our Microsoft 365 account using the registration code introduced on the screen, the X52 appears as a new team room on the Android device. We also paired the X52 with Poly’s TC10 POE powered controller tablet and used the same registration process.
Our team console displays the simultaneous devices as online and paired, and the tablet then moves all the meeting controls to its own display. We have no problem creating and joining team meetings Tablet PC With a 10-inch touch screen, in BYOD mode, we can use its menu to manually control the camera and create up to ten presets for specific camera positions.
The video quality is very good, and we noticed that the camera’s focus is significantly clearer than the Poly P15 we used in the lab. The microphone works well because distant participants can clearly hear our voices from 4.5 meters away, while the dual speakers provide clean sound quality that easily fills our 24 million2 The volume level in the conference room is 60%.
The X52 gains the benefits of Poly’s NoiseBlockai and acoustic fencing technologies that eliminate annoying background noise, while Directorie handles group and speaker tracking. Also accessible from its web console, Directorai peripheral option allows you to define custom tracking areas.
Although still in the preview beta phase, the X52 provides a framework, indicating that all participants use up to six split screens. No matter which mode you choose, your speed will impress as the camera captures the speed of the active speaker in less than two seconds.
Poly’s Studio X52 is perfect for businesses who want to be professional videoconference Solutions to mid-sized conference rooms. The video quality is excellent, the fast and fast speaker tracking is very fast, and the best choice for built-in VC applications makes it extremely useful.
