HPS LaserJet Pro MFP 4302FDW looks like the perfect color laser MFP Small office. This is a four-in-one fax, topped by 50 pages of ADF. This and printer It has duplex capability so you can start a multi-page duplex copy and enable the kettle.

The MFP has almost no packaging to remove – you just load paper, add it to the network and install the driver. Unfortunately, this didn’t go that smoothly. this touchscreen There was no confirmation that 4302FDW was joined to our lab network and when we repeatedly tried to print the network report, it was not responding. Soon after, printers poured into life, providing several unnecessary copies.

We still don’t like HP’s Twain scanning software, which doesn’t offer 150DPI in this case, but its MFPS’s lip-free scanning board makes it easier to retrieve originals. This is a very fast scannermanage 10 x 15 cm photo It was only 600DPI in 17 seconds, but repeatedly exited in our 1,200DPI test.

If idle for a while, the 4302FDW only needs about three extra seconds to warm up before providing the first black or color page. Starting with Standby, it was managed in 17 seconds and tested 25 pages in a minute. It’s slower in our challenging color tests, but its 14.4ppm still makes a good comparison of this price.
