Netflix’s Drive to Survive Made Me an F1 Fan: Season 7 is The Most Chaotic Yet

Season 7 is back to Survival, which is definitely Formula 1 fan for someone like me, and it is definitely catnip. It even prepared me the GMT starts at 4am Australian Grand Prix This weekend.

I’m one of many people with some narrative background behind Vroom Vrooming and the mysterious helmet-like characters, which made me feel F1 for the first time. The truth is, I would never fall in love with the sport if I hadn’t had the chance to meet these handsome boys and their high stakes in the track, long-standing friendships and competition. It’s the only realistic TV I’ve watched and it’s better than any soap opera. Continue for a long time.

Last season (in many ways) seems to be the most chaotic F1 season in recent history, and the momentum of survival captures it from every angle. Given that this is my first year (although it’s a practice day), it’s even more exciting for me, so I now know how it feels on the receiving end of the IRL smile on Ferrari’s resident Heartthrob.

Leclerc will compete on this year’s Heartthrob bet as the show records a dramatic move early this season. If you missed it – Lewis Hamilton announced that he will eventually move to Ferrari with Mercedes to promote dramatic musical chairs. For those who are not a huge F1 fan, this means that fresh blood will be poured into the F1 world in this upcoming season.

In the F1 world, even bigger news is against allegations of sexual misconduct made by Red Bulls principal Christian Horner, in which a female employee accused him of “controlling behavior” and sexual harassment. This led to Horner being suspended by the team. In Hamilton’s move, the season of driving survival stood out this season, but dedicating himself to the Revelation must not exceed 20 minutes, followed by an investigation Red Bull clears Horner of misconduct.

Given that Netflix caught the moment Horner discovered what he called Whatsapp news, which had been leaked to every F1 team principal, you might forgive you for imagine that the show might spend more time on spending more time — not because it was mean, but because it was serious.

Ultimately, seeing that the producers seemingly the earliest opportunity to brush the scandal under the carpet and without using it as an unquestionable opportunity, there is no doubt that it is some of the challenges of becoming a woman in this male-dominated movement.

Horner had the opportunity to talk to the camera, but the producer didn’t seem to offer a chance for the female employee to tell the story. Then there was no mention of the scandal. As the season continues to play, the Red Ball Chief has more screen time than anyone else.

Perhaps for Horner, this year, it has provided a new contender for the largest paddock villains in the form of Flavio Briatore. Briatore, an Italian businessman, returned to F1 15 years after the sport’s early career was haunted by cheating allegations. Now he’s back, from behind his tinted sunglasses (with an orange frame that seems to reflect the permanent tan glow), he’s determined to play Kingmaker for the Alpine team.

The show is still working on track when McLaren ended Red Bull’s success in the Constructors’ Championship, while Little Lando Norris found his feet as a serious contender who could potentially be in the driver’s rankings Dethrone Max Verstappen.

Norris hasn’t received the most sympathetic portrayal of this season (due to his growing reputation as a F1 dude), but I can’t help feeling sad for him due to his obvious discomfort with the media and some of the more invasive aspects of his work. I even have respect for Verstappen, despite his two toxic fathers – biological father Daddy Jos and F1 father Daddy Christian – spent most of the year in a big battle.

The best episode of the season was the episode where Netflix kicked the driver while competing for the Singapore Grand Prix and recording its own video. The idea that Lewis Hamilton emanated from bed on the morning of the game was completely impossible, but some drivers took the task seriously. Apart from Hamilton’s former Mercedes teammate George Russell (and I think it’s also likely to read CNET’s F1 driver, too), he keeps giving us constant behind-the-scenes commentary in Alan Partridge-style to an untapped YouTube career.

In the midst of chaos, this season of survival feels like the end of an era – not only because Hamilton left Mercedes and Red Bull’s unparalleled success, it seems that it’s already running. The Guard did change in the cast of roles in the show, with charismatic characters like Daniel Ricciardo and Guenther Steiner (both of whom made great TVs for both).

Will a bunch of upcoming young rookies be as unlimited entertainment as stupid duo Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda. Currently, in the dawn of the 2025 season, they may be more worried about how their track performance will behave. But selfishly, I hope they can find their grooves, too, and reveal their stuff on the camera of Season 8. It turns out that they may have sociopathic, class clowns, unlikely soft sheds or something in between, I’m all here for that.
