GTECH DRYONIC Hair Dryer: Two Minutes Review
The GTECH Dryronic hair dryer is the vacuum brand’s first attempt to the Hairircare world, an impressive debut. Not only does the dry wheel look very parts-I reviewed the models in the oyster color and have an elegant quality aesthetic-but it is very powerful.
There are four fan speeds and five thermal settings, ranging from 34C/95F to 100C/210F. All of these settings are relatively easy to manage once you get used to the fact that it is as speed control. In addition, you can also view which settings you have selected through the built-in LED display. It all combines to make your hair quick and easy.
The range of speed and heat settings also means you can customize your dryer based on hair type, whether you need mild, lower heat to prevent damage, or full power to dry quickly. Drought sources do not have a similar level of personalization L’Oreal Air Light Profor example, it allows you to adjust the temperature in small increments using the application. But it provides enough control to meet the needs of most people.
Dryonic also offers something I haven’t seen on any other dryers I’ve reviewed yet – Kids Mode. After selection, this mode sets the fan speed to second stage and keeps the temperature at 80C. This is sold as a security feature and works well. I found it most useful when drying my son’s hair. It helped me know which setting to use to make sure it doesn’t get too hot.
Magnetic accessories (nozzles and diffusers included with standard clothes dryers) are easy to swap and outward, and make switching between modes easy. The cold lens feature then helps you choose which style.
This is not perfect. Given the brand’s low noise proposition is 79 dB, this dryer performs much bigger than I expected. I also often accidentally bump the control into the middle style because I put it on the handle. The diffuser is big and I also like travel bags or lockers. However, all factors are considered, I am a fan of this dryer.
The GTech Dryonic hair dryer offers great performance and convenience at a price point of £180. If speed, design and versatility are priority, this is a reliable investment.
GTECH is not the first vacuum brand to enter Haircare – it follows Dyson and sharkboth have achieved great success in this field. Thanks to the shared motor technology found in different appliances (although with the looming official – looming – left field some straighteners), this is a natural transition. Although I was surprised that it took GTECH a long time to join The best hair dryer PACK, above is the brand seems to have spent a lot of time ensuring its first foray into Haircare Sector tick tick feet.

GTECH Dyryonic Hair Dryer Review: Price and Availability
- Price: £179.99 + 2 accessories
- Available: UK only
- Launched: January 2025
GTECH Dryronic hair dryers are currently only available in the UK and are available directly from GTECH and third-party retailers such as Tesco and Wilko. The clothes dryer is in GTECH US Website But it has not been purchased yet and is expected to be launched in more regions later.
At the price of £179.99 (approximately USD 230/AUD), vessels with concentrator nozzles and diffuser accessories by default. This price places it in the medium and high price category, with GHD HELIOS and T3 lightweight. But it’s cheaper than other vacuum-turned competitors’ clothes dryers – Dyson Supersonic NuralAnd shark’s Speed style and Elastic style Model (although the Sharks add more Multi-style More than a dedicated hair dryer).
If GTECH is out of your budget, the £170 lightweight is ultimately the best alternative. By default, it comes with four accessories – two concentrators, a diffuser and a smooth comb – while the LED display for the GTECH model is missing, it offers similar customization options through its hair input and style mode options.
GTECH Dryronic Hair Dryer Review: Design
- 4 speeds; 4 hot settings + cool shots and children’s mode
- Elegant design
- Easy to use attachment, but large diffuser
With its narrow and thin barrel, the GTECH DYRIONS looks more elegant than many short and clumsy clothes dryers that have become the norm (Dyson supersonic, I’m looking at you) without seeing over-industrial, just like the model Mdlondon strike.
I tested the oyster-colored drought crystals and I liked the contrast between the cream finish and the golden accent and buttons. I’m always worried about using light-colored devices in case they pick up dirt and dirt, but the smooth matte effect means that this didn’t happen once during my review.
I also like the clever way GTECH manages to put the LED display and filters at the back of the barrel. To accommodate a display or LED indicator, there are many competitor dryers today that either place the filter on the bottom of the handle, which allows you to easily block with your hands or narrow the display to the handle, making it harder to see and use.
GTECH runs the filter around the circumference of the barrel and then mounts the LED display at the rear of it. This sounds like a small detail, but it makes a big difference and GTECH should be praised as it has entered its idea.
A large cold-fire button is located under the barrel on the front of the handle, and two smaller power and temperature buttons are located at the rear. All three have grooves on their surfaces, making them stand out from the smooth effects of the dryer, which makes them easy to find in the medium size if you want to change the settings. It took me a second to figure out that the power button could be used as a speed control, but other than that, the dryer can be used intuitively.
Speaking of settings, GTECH Dryonic offers four fan speeds and a total of five temperature settings:
- 34 C / 95 F (cold shot)
- 40 C / 105 F
- 60 C / 140 F
- 80 C / 175 F
- 100 C / 210 F
The dryer defaults to 40 c/105 F and fan speed 2, but the corresponding icon changes on the LED display as you move between different heat and speeds. The display itself is basic, but this makes it easy to understand and allows easy viewing and adjustment of settings. Plus, the dryer has memory capabilities; it automatically remembers the last speed and heating settings you use, so you don’t have to reset it every time you turn it on.
When you press the temperature control for a long time, the dryer switches to child mode and the settings will be locked at fan speed 2 and 80 c/175 F. You will not be able to make any changes unless you extend the temperature control again.
The dryer measures 8 x 5.25 inches / 20.3 x 13 cm, with a slightly rounded design and a rich handle that fits my hands easily. My first impression was that the dryer was a little heavy, but felt more balanced when you started using it, and at 0.9 lbs/411g it was a relatively light dryer that could be used and moved on the head. To see through this, Dyson Supersonic weighs 1.5 pounds.

GTECH Dryronic Hair Dryer Review: Performance
- Quickly dry, even in lower settings
- Easy to use accessories
- Greater than expected
During my review, I tested the range of all the different heat and speed settings for the dry element. In the hottest, fastest setting (100c, fan speed 4), probe dry In just four minutes, my long, thin, natural curly hair. This is more Dyson Supersonicbut almost twice as much as my preferred hair dryer, Revlon Pro. The downside of this speed is that my hair lacks movement and looks a bit dry.
On the lowest heat and speed setting (40°C, fan speed 1), dry my hair for almost six minutes. But this is still impressive, especially considering that other dryers I use can take so long on their highest settings, as my hair is soft and smooth afterwards.
The best result I got was when setting the dryer to 80c and fan speed 3. This setting gives the best balance of time and time, and it took five minutes to dry my hair and make the frizz with minimal frizz look smooth. It is easy to calm the frizz by using a concentrator nozzle or completing my style through a cold lens. I like the fact that after being pressed, the cold shot will continue to exist – you don’t need to press the button – it actually feels cold. Unlike other cool lenses that slightly reduce the temperature of the hot air.

Speaking of nozzles, both probe accessories are magnetic, which makes them really easy to swap and out. No twist or click in place. While not the largest accessory, the concentrator nozzle does help focus the airflow for precise styling and smoothing. You just need to use it on small, thin hair for the best results.
Again, the diffuser evenly distributes the heat and helps define my curls without much frizz. I found this diffuser to be the best in medium-fire speeds, maintaining the elasticity of curly hair and reducing frizz. My only complaint is that the diffuser is bulky.
One disadvantage of a clothes dryer is usually noise. With an average of 79 decibels, it’s not incredibly loud, but is significantly louder than other models and is with me. This may be something to consider if you are noise sensitive, but to me, it’s not a spoiler.
- Performance score: 4 out of 5 points

How do I test GTECH Dryonic
- Use the probe as my preferred dryer for two weeks
- Try a range of heat and speed combinations
- Created different styles from attachments
In two weeks, I used the GTECH Dryonic as a daily hair dryer. After the shower, I used it to roughly dry my hair. Use a concentrator nozzle to make a salon-style blowout; and use a diffuser to dry my natural curls. I tried a range of heat and speed combinations to monitor the time it takes to complete each look and how my hair looks and feels. I also tracked the duration of the duration and my hair was healthy during the review.
