Shohei Otani Fortnite Skin Release Date: How to Get the First MLB Skin
LA Dodger Slugger Shohei Ohtani, who won the National League MVP last year, is the sport’s baseball superstar and global phenomenon. He will also be the first MLB player to enter Fortnite.

Two bundles by Ohtani will appear on March 17. The first included Slugger in his Dodgers uniform, in home and away colors and LEGO style. The bundle includes a bait-back light modeled on Ohtani’s dog and trusted two-way pickups.
The second bundle features Ohtani in the samurai costume. It includes a samurai screaming back light flashing, which turns into fire after you eliminate the players and baseball pickups.
New emotions, dog actors and hey mushy batter will also be available for purchase.
Epic has not yet provided prices for skin and emotions. Skins typically cost between 1,000 and 1,200 v-bucks, which is in-game currency per $0.90, making the cost of the skin between $9-$11. The cost of emotions, pickups and back flash is between 200 and 500 v-buck. Bundles, including skin and other cosmetics, range from 1,500 to 2,000 v-bucks.
In addition to skins and emotions, Epic released a series of missions for players on March 18 until the end of Season 2 and Season 2. Complete these tasks will be rewarded with XP to unlock more items in their battle pass or game. The tasks are:
- Complete 3 matches in the top 17
- Eliminate 3 players over 50 meters
- Throw 17 items
- Damage to opponents with knee apologist 54
- When sliding continuously, the trip is 59 distances
Epic also plans to hold the Shohei Ohtani Cup on March 15. The match will be held in a series of single-player battle contests in three-hour windows in each area. Players participated in 10 matches and won points in their position in the match. Those with the highest score can unlock the Shohei Ohtani Samurai skin as early as possible. To participate, the player must have an account with at least 50 levels and two-factor authentication.
