Premier League predictions: Chris Sutton v The Farm singer & Liverpool fan Peter Hooton

It’s safe to say that Guardiola has seriously angered the rest of the football world by agreeing to renew his contract with Manchester City.
You can imagine the groans from the red half of Liverpool, North London and Manchester as they know how dominant City have been under his leadership.
Manchester City are currently in poor form, which is why they have suffered four consecutive defeats in all competitions. People kept looking at them as if the wheels were coming off, but they were still in second place, just five points behind the top spot.
I do think Pep’s new contract will give them a boost and I expect them to bounce back.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been described as a “crisis club” this season, but they are still only three points behind third place.
The table is so crowded that anyone in mid-table will be at the top if they win a few games in a row, but I don’t think Spurs will get anything at the Etihad Stadium.
There will be goals in this game as Tottenham boss Ange Postkoglu will not change his approach. He has already beaten Manchester City once this season in the Carabao Cup, but I think Pep will come out on top this time.
Sutton’s prediction: 3-1
Peter’s prediction: Spurs are absolutely going to be great under Angie Postkoglu and be able to play with such swashbuckling intensity. I love watching them, but you just don’t know what you’re going to get from them.
As for City, just like Arsenal against Forest, it’s a must-win game for them and then we play them at Anfield next week. I think Pep will make that clear to them and they will get back to winning ways. 2-1
