Calum Hill eyes PGA Tour card after Joburg Open victory
“My wife Miranda is from Arizona, so I spent a lot of time there and if I could continue my position, by the end of the year, I would be perfect for me—and I would be happy.”
Hill, from Crook, Devon, scored a 62 match record in the second round, winning the Jobgu Open on the second additional hole.
This dramatic victory put him in the 160th world rankings.
Robert MacIntyre ranked 18th in the world, and Hill admits that all Scots on the DP World Tour are eager to join him in the United States.
Hill added: “All of us are currently playing in Europe and are aiming to get this card to the United States.” Hill added that his first champion appeared in Cazoo Classic in London in 2021.
“I think this is where most people want to move into the career trajectory and I think we’re all excited to join Bob and hope to have a good PGA Tour career.”
