Lucky escape for man hit by Peru train
Local authorities say a man was hit by a train while sleeping on a train track in Peru.
Surveillance video shows him lying motionlessly before the slow-moving cargo train contacted him. Shortly after the incident, he stood up.
“He was obviously intoxicated and fell asleep along the train tracks and did not feel the train coming,” said local official Javier Avalos.
General Avalos added that the man suffered only minor injuries to his left arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
