MWC 2025: All the Strange, Bizarre and Wonderful Gadgets and Concepts
each year Mobile World Congress We’ve seen cool new technologies, and at MWC 2025, there are many funky gadgets that extend the meaning of the word “mobile technology”.
MWC 2025 Collection Weird phonebut usually they have variations on standardized flat rectangles. Other gadgets are more free, and the ones we see at the show cover a range of categories, from smart rings to street wear to projectors that fit your pocket.
like Telephone In the show, some of the more bizarre gadgets are concept devices designed to be proof of concept gadgets, rather than prototypes before later production. Some of these gadgets are coming, and some may never reach the store shelves, but they all prompt the industry to re-examine the possibilities of the technology we carry and wear.

Solar Jedi Robe
Mobile-Accessories Company Anker has many traditional products, from battery packs to earbuds. But the company’s solar and energy branch, Anker Solix, has something else on MWC: jacket A solar cell covered with cables that charge your device like a Jedi of some kind of technology future when you put on your coat.
Yes, long solar panels extend from the back and back of the sleeves and jacket, and blue LED lights ring to make you look like a character. Cyberpunk 2077. But when you charge the device from a 30-watt USB-C cable, who cares what others think of? Compared to us, you really start from the future.

Lenovo’s PC control smart ring concept
We’ve seen a lot of smart rings, e.g. Ula Ring 4 and Three Stars Galaxy Ringwhich mainly tracks health and fitness as a smartwatch support or even completely replaces. Lenovo’s concept AI smart ring It’s different. It allows users to control a 3D laptop.

At MWC 2025, CNET’s Katie Collins was able to use a ring to control the 3D model of the T. Rex, a cool demonstration of the power accessories connected to nearby laptops, although both are concept devices, we had to wait and see when the technology would incorporate it into the product on the market.
