Florida attorney general opens criminal investigation into Andrew and Tristan Tate

Attorney General James Uthmeier announced on social media that he directed his office to work with law enforcement to conduct a preliminary investigation into the Tate Brothers.
“Based on a thorough review of the evidence, I directed the Statewide Prosecution Office to execute a search warrant and issued a subpoena in the current criminal investigation of the Tate Brothers,” Uthmeier said.
DeSantis says Tate Brothers are “not welcome” in Florida

These Thais, who are dual American British citizens, were arrested in late 2022 and formally prosecuted in Romania last year, alleged that they participated in a criminal circle where the criminal lured women to the country where they were sexually exploited. Andrew Tate is also charged with rape. They deny the charges.
Andrew Tate, 38, is a former professional kickboxing player who calls himself misogynist and is a very successful social media figure, attracting millions of followers, many of whom are young and school kids attracted online by a luxurious lifestyle. He and his 36-year-old brother Tristan are voice supporters of President Donald Trump.
Andrew Tate has been previously banned from using Tiktok, YouTube and Facebook for hate speech and his misogynistic comments, including women who are responsible for sexual assault.
Foreign Secretary Emil Hurezeanu said this month that Trump administration officials expressed interest in the brother’s case at the recent Munich security meeting, which was the Thais left Romania.
