UFC London: Leon Edwards says a win over Sean Brady will secure title shot
Leon Edwards said his battle with Sean Brady of the London UFC will determine the next middleweight world title contender.
The British fought for the first time since March 22 Losing UFC belt Going to Belal Muhammad last July.
Edwards, 33, Face Mohamed on May 10.
Edwards said in him: “If Jack goes out and win, it will open the department and it will be the perfect battle against me next.” YouTube channel.,,,,, External
“If Belal beats him, then the rematch is there too. I’ve talked to the UFC and they say this (round) is the first contender.
“When I win this, I fight for the championship.”
Edwards said he proposed to step in the injured Shavkat Rakhmonov against Mohammed, but the UFC did not want to pull him out of the London card.
He added: “It’s weird to make Jack headline London.”
