TGL Golf: Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s teams eliminated
Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Link GC and Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf were eliminated from the TGL after failing to make the playoffs.
Boston needed to beat New York on Monday night to secure the playoffs, but lost 10-6, with Cameron Young, Ritchie Fowler and Xander Schauffele scoring five points in the final four holes.
Schauffele “throws the hammer” – increased the hole’s score from one point to two in twelfth and beat Adam Scott.
Cameron Young then left McIlroy, meaning Boston would need to work overtime on the last hole to work overtime.

The result also ended Jupiter Link GC’s hopes for the playoffs, with New York blocking their spots alongside the Los Angeles Golf Club, the Bay Golf Club and the Atlanta Avenue GC.
Los Angeles Golf Club is the top SOFI Cup rankings and will face New York, fourth-ranked New York in the semi-finals, with the Bay Golf Club facing Atlanta Avenue GC in a March 17-18 match.
