Protesters target JD Vance in Vermont after clash with Zelensky
Protesters in the United States line up on a Vermont road, Vice President JD Vance will drive out after his angry exchange with President Trump with Volodymyr Zelensky of the White House.
They held up pro-Ukrainian signs on the Waitsfield route, saying Vance and his family were expected to ski on ski.
American media reported that the family moved from the planned ski resort to an undisclosed location due to the demonstrations.
Hundreds also gathered in New York, Los Angeles and Boston on Saturday to express support for Ukraine-the Oval Office’s irritation a day after.
The extraordinary scenes of the Oval Office have led Vance to accuse the Ukrainian president of disrespect for the United States.
Trump also clashed with Zelensky, telling him to reach a deal with Russia and accusing him of “gambling with World War III.”

“I think the performance at the White House (Friday) could make more people release today,” Judy Daly of the indivisible Mad River Valley, who organized the protests, told Vermont Public Radio.
“(Vance) crossed the line,” protester Cori Giroux added.
Prior to the Vance family trip, Vermont Governor Phil Scott urged people to “respect” them.
Republican Gov. Scott, who refused to vote for Trump, said: “I welcome the Vice President and his family to Vermont and hope they enjoy the weekend here.
“It’s no surprise that they chose Vermont, we’ve snowed a lot this winter and it’s good for our economy.”
He added: “I hope Vermonts remember the Vice President’s family trip with his little ones and while we may not always agree, we should respect it.
“Please join me in welcoming them to Vermont and hope they have the opportunity to experience what makes our state and Vermont so special.”
Vance, who has three children with his wife Usha, did not publicly comment on the protests. Resistance protesters who supported Trump and Vance were also reportedly in Whitesfield.
In addition, protesters gathered outside Tesla stores in the United States on Saturday to protest Elon Musk’s push to cut government spending.
Tesla’s billionaire CEO Musk is under Trump’s task to oversee the government’s efficiency ministry, a well-known Doge.
After meetings at the White House, Zelensky flew to the UK, where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and on Sunday he joined European leaders and Canada for a summit in London’s Justin Trudeau to discuss ways to end the Ukrainian war and ensure Europe’s security.
Stemmer said that before the summit, Britain and France will “develop a plan to fight Russia” with Ukraine and then “discuss the plan with the United States.”
He told the BBC that his current “driving purpose” is to act as a “bridge” between two people.
When asked about how he felt as if he was spitting at the White House, Starmer tried to play the incident, saying “no one wanted to see it” and admitting he felt “discomfortable.”
