Dubai Tennis Championships: Stefanos Tsitsipas beats Felix Auger-Aliassime to claim maiden title
Stefanos Tsitsipas won the Girls ATP 500 title with a straight-up victory over Felix Auger-Aliassim in the Dubai Tennis Championship final.
The 26-year-old Greek performed well, defeating his Canadian opponent 6-3 6-3.
The fourth seed has reached the final twice, losing to Novak Djokovic in 2019 and then again into Roger Federer a year later.
Saturday’s victory was the 12th Tour champion of World 11 TSITSIPAS and the largest outdoor racing trophy of his career.
He beat Auger-Aliassime, 24, in one hour and 28 minutes, leading the ATP Tour with 16 games and 2 championships this season and will return to the top ten in the world for the first time since May 2024.
