African Footballers Flock to Saudi Pro League

African football players are increasingly finding their footsteps in the Saudi professional league, and currently, more than 50 people from across the continent play for 18 teams in the department. These footballers range from famous stars such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez to lesser-known names such as Abderrazak Hamdallah, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Musa Barrow. The league’s relaxed environment and increased foreign player quotas, including slot machines for young talents, make Saudi Arabia an attractive alternative to African players. More importantly, African players in the league are discovering similarities to their own countries and increasingly brotherly ties with others like them. Therefore, they are influencing other African football players to turn to Saudi professional leagues and become part of the program.
