Germany Joins Forces with AfDB to Boost Africa’s Energy Access

The African Development Bank (AFDB) is working with Germany to accelerate energy access and enhance private sector growth across Africa. The partnership announced at a high-level meeting held by Abidjan that it will expand support for Mission 300, a project aimed at providing electricity to 300 million Africans by 2030 and increasing financing for developments led by the energy sector. In addition, the partnership will work to strengthen the private sector in Africa, focusing on youth entrepreneurship and skills development.
