Katy Perry, Gayle King and Lauren Sánchez Are Going to Space
Blue Origin is Creating History All female staff For the next space flight, some very familiar names are included. ASSA said its 11th human mission will include CBS host Gayle King, singer Katy Perry and former journalist Lauren Sánchez – the fiancé of Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos. The passenger list for the NS-31 mission is former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, Bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
The mission is part of Blue Origin’s new Shepard program, which has flown 52 people above the Kármán line, an internationally recognized boundary of space, about 62 miles above the Earth.

according to websiteastronauts’ voice speed exceeds three times. Once they pass the line, the crew can unbutton and float and return to Earth with a parachute.
The flight will be launched this spring and it will mark the first all-female pilot since 1963 of Russian engineer Valentina Tereshkova’s Solo Space Flight.

Blue Origin has previously given many famous names above the Earth, including actors William ShatnerAmerican Good Morning host and retired NFL players Michael Strahan and Bezos himself.
