‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Release Date and What the Cast Tells Us About Season 4
Power Book III: Raising Kanan will return next week, with Raquel Thomas, Kanan and other families going to bring great surprises. The Season 3 finale not only sees some of the main characters die, but also the fan favorite uniqueness – played by Joey Bada $$, who also resurrects from the dead. What now?
Entertainer Sascha Penn and stars Mekai Curtis, Patina Miller, Malcolm Mays, London Brown and Joey Bada $$ spoke with CNET about Season 4 and gave tips on the role. The new spin-off division also brings back Tony Danza’s return as Stefano Marchetti, Wendell Pierce and Erika Woods are snapshots and pop music while newcomer Chris Redd is the early newcomer and Pardison Fontaine is B-Rilla.
Raq, Marvin, Lou and Kanan are not aware that the unique ones are still alive, so entering season 4, and for Thomas Family it’s always been. Kanan and his mother aren’t the most important, but essentially the show is at the heart of his journey and its impact on the environment and all of them. This time the effect will become more obvious.
“I think what we started to see in Season 4 is different, and I do think Kanan really starts taking steps to be the one we see him in power,” Payne said. “You can’t go through everything this guy goes through without getting harder, harder, more cynical, frankly, more violent.”
Curtis added: “As Kanan discovers more about himself, Kanan discovers more about the world around him, he finds himself more like his mother than ever before, and he is trying to fight it.”
Lark has his own battle this time, and Miller shared that we will see a new side of her this season, which may surprise us. “She will have some big moments and she can’t just Raq get out of it,” she explained.
To see that she has to lose some control as someone who is used to control, what it feels like, and how uncomfortable it feels – I think it would be very exciting for the audience to see the new side of Raquel. Because you grew up with her.
London Brown plays Marvin Thomas, Patina Miller and Raq Thomas and Malcom Mays play Lou-Lou Thomas.
What happened to the unique Marvin, Lu Lu and those breeze rumors?
The conflict with Raq may not be the only store for Kanan or anyone else on the home track. The final scene of Season 3 falls into a unique position, standing on the body of his dead brother, Ronnie, a callback that Ronnie beats him and makes him die. He sees Kanan and Raq enter and exit the buildings that have a skirmish (and set up) with Ronnie. But his injury will affect his actions and thinking processes, which can be dangerous for everyone. According to Joey Bada $$, we will see different versions of him. “It’s not typical unique. He operates from the whole aspect of his brain, which is even more unstable.”
Joey Bada $$ is unique in raising Kanan.
Audiences are used to seeing unique carry in a smooth and strategic way, but the transition to rapper actors is a welcome challenge. “It’s almost like there’s a new character, but I see it as a self of this character that already exists,” Bada $$ said.
There is never actually any leisure time in this show, rest assured that everyone in the Thomas family will be very busy. Dealing with Stefano, the endless hunting of law enforcement, family drama, romance, and some possible new business ventures. Marvin and Jukebox’s relationship was tested, but Brown said his character realized his daughter was “more like him” this season. Fans will see him “starting to stride forward in hopes of stopping her from entering a path he didn’t really sign up.” Additionally, Lark’s big brother will dabble in some adventures that would benefit him.
As for Raq’s youngest sibling and another uncle of Kanan – he still wants to work in music, opening the way for a possible partnership with B-Rilla, played by Pardison Fontaine (also known as Pardi). Mays said the rapper had some interesting scenes, and the series’ love for Lou improved his story compared to other characters. “I think my world is the most fly,” he said.
I asked Pennsylvania if he wanted to put the rumor of this season on the bed, and he joked but politely refused. But, he shared, they set out to tell certain stories to raise Kanan and always “make it a little blurry and secret.” He added that while it wasn’t a company’s negation, I want to say that I think we handed over in terms of the stories we told. I think fans will be happy with what they see and how they performed in Season 4. ” Explain as you wish.
