Asus Rog Pelta: One Minute Review
The Rog Pelta is another explosive device in the Asus gaming division. Compatible on most platforms with wired (via USB-C, no 3.5mm inside sound) and wireless (Bluetooth and 2.4GHz dongle) connections, the Pelta works correctly with important things and skips the super extra extra features.
The headphones are priced down, and the flagship Rog Delta II features an axe such as wide battery life, full-distance size adjustment, extra cushioning, and excessive RGB (though you can still find a programmable, glowing ROG logo on both sides).
It makes sense to simplify what makes the Delta II’s headphones so attractive to become a more affordable unit everything Become expensive around us. The same microphone and 50mm audio driver are used between the Delta II and the Pelta, so you won’t miss the sound and performance, but maybe you’ll miss the comfort and battery life that the top models boast.
Additionally, the larger adjustment points that exist on the Delta II will be welcomed on the Pelta because it is difficult to find a comfortable point when you only have three size options instead of a telescope weapon. If you remove it when you are not using it, the microphone will also be tired because if it successfully establishes the connection, its plastic exterior needs to be perfectly aligned with the headphones.
Finally, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack between the machine and the headphones (again, unlike the Delta II), so if you want to connect this feature via a wired connection, you will need to install as a USB-C cable. This is not a big problem, but for some users, it can be a deal-breaker.
But for me, I’m very happy with this headset and its feature set. I like the features it offers, including the useful pause/play button on the side, and the slider toggle between Bluetooth/OFF/2.4GHz, which I’d love to keep using instead of mine Logitech G Pro X2 headphones.

Compared to the ROG Delta II headset, which was much lower (at 229/£219/AU $369 when it was released in the second half of last year), Pelta simplifies a lot of good numbers that make top ROG headsets. In our ROG Delta II ReviewWe criticize the headphones for some highlights, and the Pelta keeps that, but the cost is more attractive.
That being said, even Rog Pelta is taking part in more feature-rich competitors, e.g. Steelseries Arctic New 5 ($129.99/£129.99/au $299) and its companion app. However, Perta did not impress.

Asus Rog Pelta: Features

Pelta reconnects ROG headset products. Delta II had already browsed the Extras when it was released last year, but Pelta adapted the Delta II’s impressive upgrade (especially its titanium driver) into a more affordable package.
This means that in most cases you will get the same high-end beast, but cheap. Between the two units, the 20Hz -20kHz audio frequency response is the same, as is the 100Hz -10kHz microphone.
I’ll swear the sound quality and microphone quality of the Perta. It is rich, deep and loud, keeps high-quality sound to the maximum sound and can be customized in ROG’s Armory Crate app. Although bass does suffer when compared to headphones like the Logitech G Pro X2.
The 900mAh battery has an impressive capacity, providing up to 90 hours of lighting and 60 hours of use. Between gaming and watching TV shows and twitch streams, casually using headphones between four weeks, I only had to charge twice when RGB was enabled. This is acceptable battery life and is also a popular size for the huge 1,800mAh battery in the Delta II.
The microphone is removable and can bend freely, although it can be painful to put the microphone back into the jack if you are not aligned Just rightdue to its unique triangle shape.
Finally, the buttons present on the headset feel very wise. There is a volume wheel with a fair amount of travel at your fingertips, and a microphone off/on button, my favorite is the pause/play button. Given that I used a keyboard without media controls during my testing, this is a pretty useful feature and hopefully with more headphones. Close/Mix with Connection Switch on the slider – Central position selection, slide Bluetooth, and then select 2.4GHz down. The sound played through the headset will indicate whether it is on or off, and whether it is connected to a dongle or Bluetooth.
Remember, the Rog Pelta uses a USB-C dongle – if you don’t have a free USB-C port on your device, you may have problems with your own.
Asus Rog Pelta: Sound quality

The Rog Pelta continues audio quality from Asus’ top gaming headsets, and it’s not disappointing. The standard stereo sound profile is great for a variety of audio-visual media, including games, of course, but it is also suitable for music streaming, TV shows and movies. Even if the volume crank rises to its maximum, the sound is clear, although the bass depth may make you crave some fists more.
Asus’s Rog Armory Crate app offers a decent user experience with sound quality adjustments. In most cases, I set the headphones to the “communication” sound profile because it provides a balanced mixture, my favorite is (when I switch between racing, shooting, RPG and SIM games), although I was very shocked by the depth of the FPS preset, which shocked the depth of the projectile and explosion. Miracle Competitors Really jumped up. Still, finding a mode that sets the best experience for all uses still keeps me from constantly immersing in the Armory Crate, so that’s what I do.
Of course, you need not only use presets. There are a lot of sliders to fiddle with, so you can customize the sound to your ears, and there are some useful sliders for boosting, voice clarity, and voice compression.
The microphone quality is a bit mid-middle, but I didn’t expect it to be clear. The more expensive Logitech G Pro X2 has the same microphone arrangement and produces similar results. This microphone understands that you have no problem, but it is certainly not a broadcast specification.
Overall, the sound quality of the headphones is immersive and effortlessly public, Marvel competitors,,,,, Forza Horizon 5,,,,, Headline News and other games.
Asus Rog Pelta: Design

I’m very satisfied to say that these are very comfortable headphones, especially during long summer gaming sessions. My home doesn’t have air conditioning and I usually play games on my computer for hours, which usually leads to sweat and constant contact with ear discomfort. The ROG Pelta headphones didn’t irritate my skin like other headphones in the past, and I felt like I could have comfortable cushioning for longer durations.
Still, design is another area where Pelta takes a clear step from Delta II. It has a slightly lower mesh fabric cushion around its ears (as mentioned above, I personally feel this fine), with the headband’s sizing adjustments only three sizing adjustment points, rather than the telescope design found on many other high-end headphones. This means it’s hard to find the best place to comfort, and unlike the telescope’s headset, you’ve already chosen one of the sizes you choose unless you go through the (recognized as simple) process of removing and re-enabling the headband. This is not a transaction breaker, and in fact, the size option is enough to meet the needs of a large number of users.
When it comes to design, the only thing that angers me is the microphone. It is surrounded by a triangular plastic shell and needs to be inserted at an exact angle. This is not easy if you don’t view the port when plugging in it, and it will be firmly inserted even if the jack does not make proper contact with the port. This leads to a few discordant audio technical difficulties, but once you catch it, it’s easy to identify.
Including a red light at the end of the microphone boom to indicate whether you are muting or not is also a great feature, and I appreciate it being there.

How do I test Asus Rog Pelta

From the moment I received the Asus Rog Pelta for review, I started testing immediately. I’m on a Windows device and mine Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Phone, but I use them mostly for gaming.
I tested the headphones games including Marvel competitors,,,,, Avoid,,,,, Headline News,,,,, Forza Horizon 5. In these games, I changed the audio settings using the ROG Armory Crate app and used Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connections as well as wired connections. I would play games and watch a few hours of gigs with Pelta headphones and wear them often while doing housework and cooking.
