Once thought it was a strange practice to work on a standing desk in the office, but now it is believed that standing desks can provide some health benefits that help us sit on our desks and relieve stress on our backs while working. .
With current home practice jobs still strong (although employers require employees to return to the office), more and more people are seeking to equip their personal workspace or home offices The best standing table.
Here, the Flexispot comes with a range of stand-up tables with different desktop finishes, capable of lifting 100 kg of budget-friendly E1 to 180 kg for flagship E9 and starter accessories.
Today, we are reviewing their flagship Flexispot E9B-uk, which comes with a 140cm x 80cm white laminate desktop.
The table is delivered in two parcels and proudly displays the Flexispot brand and model. The desktop box was a bit hit by the courier, which made me a little worried, knowing that if the malt treatment could break the laminate into or break, if the malt treatment. The second point is that the stand-up frame box is very heavy, and ideally you need two people to do the job.
Flexispot E9B-UK: Assembly
From the standing table frame box and opening, I was attracted by the packaging of all packaging or soft closed cell foam packaging. Lifting the foam reveals two standing legs, the main culprit of weight. All the other pieces and bobs are in the little box you see. Remove the second layer of foam and took me to the standing table frame, which is the part that holds the legs and the table top all together, and it is inside, we can find the control box, effectively finding the control box. And some rubber, height-adjustable foot pads.
Remove everything from the packaging and box will show all the components of the table, which gives you an idea of how to put it together. Flexispot offers two small hex keys to assemble the table, which is my welcome for those without tools, and on the other hand, I have a combination drill and a variety of drill bits.
Assembling a table is quick and easy, starting by screwing the tabletop support onto the frame, then opening the tabletop box with the legs right in front of the feet (and making sure you have space). The legs are the reason for making this table, they are made of solid steel structures with a front and rear thickness of 95.6mm.
When I opened the desktop box, I was happy to find that the desktop was intact and would not damage it. It seems Flexispot knows how Couriers sometimes deal with boxes, especially those like this. I noticed that Flexispot placed a hard plastic angle protector. We chose a 140cm x 80cm desktop.
There are pre-drilled holes under the tabletop, which line up into the stand-up table frame and screw holes for the control panel. It’s just a matter of putting the frame on the desktop, positioning the holes, screwing them together, and then flipping the entire table over so that the table is upwards above the table.
Flexispot E9B-UK: Operation
Once done, the table will be at the lowest setting, too low for my preferences. Check the control panel and we have the usual “up” and “down” buttons. Next to them is the “M” button for two purposes, and pressing it gently will let you set a memory setting, pressing and holding it will lock the table height to prevent accidents from being adjusted in height.
Between the button groups is the height display. A set of buttons on the right are the memory heights of “1” and “2” and the memory’s “standing” and “sitting” heights. These adjust these by first setting the height (e.g. 114), then pressing the “M” button, and then pressing the “Stand” button. After that, the table will increase to 114 each time the “Stand” button is pressed.
Finally, at the end of the control panel is a USB-A port for collecting various items, I don’t have any devices to test the wattage of the port, but trying to Lenovo ThinkPad ThinkPad X13 Yoga think Yoga laptop doesn’t work, at least it needs 65W. Plug in my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra In shows it’s fast charging, which leads me to believe it has a 25W capability. It would be better to see a USB-C port, as this has become the standard for at least 100W output, and it is a missed opportunity.
Regarding the display, numbers actually mean height. When talking about 110, this means that the bottom of the tabletop will be 110 cm from the floor. These numbers are in centimeters, displayed as 99.9 cm in under 100 years old, and approximately 100 pictures are displayed in 100 seconds. The minimum height is 68.5 and the maximum height is 128 cm.
Playing with the table on the initial setup, I encountered the “E01” error, and while reading the manual it seemed that this table didn’t like to adjust frequently, it seemed that I was “overworking” it. Although the table is empty. Turn off the power table and then re-open the issue after a few minutes, and I haven’t seen the usage for two weeks since.
flexispot e9b-uk: Use
After assembly, I filled the table with a very light laptop, monitor and some other debris and bobs. The table performed perfectly, silently, quickly and, most importantly, smoothly. And, this should do the same, as the brushless motor of this table has better life, speed and weight capability than the brushed brothers.
Having gained confidence I loaded the table to my main setup and I knew the table was fine when lifting the 25kg+ desktop computer, I decided not to put it on the table for cable management. However, it does have to lift and lower the Innocn 49Q1 monitor we were on a few months ago, which is not heavy but bulky 12 kg and some accessories.
I set the seating height at 74cm and the standing height at 114cm and I found that the table had no problem lifting the entire setting like the monitor was barely swaying. I noticed that the table also has a collision detection system, and if any part of the table encounters resistance in either direction, the table will stop and retreat a few centimeters.
Carry out cable management. The cables for the table are like this, the cables connecting the legs and control panel to the box in the center of the frame are too long and therefore must be hidden. Thankfully, FlexiSpot provides a magnetic cover that hides these cables. For my desktop cable cables, I used cable sleeves for the cables and from there I used a lot of sticky cable fixing nails to secure them to the bottom of the desktop.
Flexispot E9B-UK: Price and Availability
Finally, the cost of writing E9B-uk’s frame alone is £499.99, which we combined with a white laminate desktop at 140 x 80 cm to £629.98. The most expensive combination is £749.98, a 180 x 80cm desktop made of bamboo. And, this is in the addition of any accessories such as cable management trays, power plugs or drawers. If that’s too expensive, Flexispot also sells E1 tables, with the same desktop color finish, retails for £239.98, but has a lower load capacity and lacks certain features.
flexispot e9b-uk: Final judgment
So, what is the judgment of the Flexispot E9B-UK standing table? Overall, a well-crafted, sturdy, smooth and heavy table with a heavy load capacity. If you are buying a stand-up table in the market, this table isn’t anything to hate, then this should definitely be on your shortlist.
