Pope Francis still in critical condition on 10th day of hospitalization, Vatican says, tying longest of his papacy

Later Sunday, doctors reported blood tests showed early renal failure was still under control. They say Francis is still in critical condition, but he hasn’t experienced it yet Respiratory Crisis Since Saturday.

He was receiving a lot of replenished oxygen flow, and on Sunday, he was alert, responsive and attended Mass. They said his prognosis was protected.

Monday marked Francis’ 10th day in the hospital, equivalent to his longest stay in the pope. He spent 10 days at the Jegli Hospital in Rome in 2021 as he was removed from his 13-inch colon.

On Sunday in New York, Cardinal Timothy Dolan admitted that the Roman church leaders did not say publicly: Catholics are united “at the bedside of a dying father.”

“Just as our Father Pope Francis is in very, very fragile health, and may be close to death,” Dolan said on the pulpit of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, backed back. ”
