NBA: Stephen Curry makes history as the Golden State Warriors beat the Sacramento Kings
Stephen Curry became the first Golden State Warriors player in NBA history to score 700 20-point professional games, winning 132-108 against the Sacramento Kings.
Curry is one of four players who scored 20 points or more, Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody combined 43 points, while Buddy Hee Buddy Hield scored 22 points.
The victory raised the Warriors’ Warriors’ Kings in the Western Conference rankings to ninth.
Curry’s 20 points, which means he also tied for the most games with NBA legend Michael Jordan, tied for the Guards with 20 or more after he was 35.
Western Conference leader Oklahoma City Thunder returned from the All-Star Game and beat the Utah Jazz 130-107 at Salt Lake City.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 21 points and Chet Holmgren scored 20 points as Thunder scored his eighth victory in nine outings.
Elsewhere, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the New York Knicks 142-106 to strengthen their control over the Eastern Conference.
So far, the Knicks have won 46 of 56 games.
The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Washington Wizards 104-101, with Brook Lopez scoring 18 points and nine rebounds.
The Miami Heat won a 120-111 championship with the Toronto Raptors, ending a four-game losing streak, the Detroit Pistons beat the San Antonio Spurs 125-110, the Dallas Mavericks beat the New Orleans Pelicans 111-103, and the Houston Rockets beat the New Orleans Minnesota Timberwolves 121-115.
