Marvel Rivals Midseason Update Will Bring The Thing and Human Torch
Marvel competitorsthe new hero shooter based on Marvel comics characters is about half the time of his first full season. The free match launched Season 0 on December 6 and quickly reached 20 million players before starting its first full season in early January.
Friday’s mid-season update will bring two new heroes, a new map, (thanks to Odin) that will not reset the rankings as originally announced.
Marvel Competitors Season 1 Second Half Start Time
The second half of Season 1 will begin on Friday, February 21, although the exact start time has not been announced yet. Season 1 starts at 1 a.m. PT.

New Marvel Competitor Heroes and Maps
Season 1 brings Fantastic Four – Invisible woman, Ms. Magic, Human torch and Things – Give Miracle competitors. Given its premise that two doctors from different schedules are taking control, this is a suitable addition to the game. That would mean eight new heroes and four to eight new maps each year. This is an impressive content for live service games.
There have been many other Marvel competitors leaking recently, including the abilities of hero models or characters such as Ultron, Emma Frost and Jean Gray. All of this has not been confirmed and will not appear in Season 1, but they do recommend healthy content graphs for the game, which are crucial to keep players engaged throughout the year.
Battle Pass
Season 1 Pass features 10 new outfits, centering around the eternal night theme of this season. The Battle Pass costs 990 lattices (approximately $10 worth of game currency). If you complete the Battle Pass, you can earn 600 grids and 600 units (around 12 dollars worth of game currency).
Equilibrium change
The developers say the mid-season patch will destroy (but not completely break) the three-level combat division composition by reducing the last frequency of strong support while accelerating the ultimate frequency of some duels and pioneers. Storm is getting NERF to lower her strength levels, and Dr. Strange and Dr. Magneto will also get some targeted NERFs after continuing to be the most successful Vanguard Heroes. The developers also responded to feedback that the balance changes too slowly, noting that they intend to make major changes to patches that kick off the new and mid-seasons, but said they will change a tactical balance after each season to resolve any Direct outliers.

No mid-term ranking reset
“When the second half of the season begins, there will be no ranking reset,” opponent Devs confirmed Blog Posts.
