Boulies EP200: 30 seconds comment
Very comfortable. This is my first thought after assembling the Bulies EP200 office chair and sitting down for the first time. After a month of continuous use – at least eight hours a day, sometimes more – this initial assessment is still correct.
It’s a pleasant mesh seat that always feels supportive, relaxed and one of them The best office chair I’ve tested it before. I’ve been a fan of mesh office chairs for a long time, and it’s much less breathable and sweaty than fabrics and leather (or worse, so-called PU or faux leather) and even in The best gaming chairs. If you use a chair for a long time at a time, the mesh is the way to go in my opinion. On this score, the Bulies EP200 is perfect for the bill.
What I really worry about is whether the mesh seat will suffer from general sag loss, or whether it is too firm – can cause discomfort and fatigue during the workday. I’m happy to report that it hits the Goldilocks’ position, which is neither too hard nor too soft, but is correct.
There are a few features missing here that you can find on expensive tables and chairs. It is worth noting that the waist support is fixed in one position – although you can move it back and forth, the user who adapts to the height is not height-adjusted (as someone with average height, that’s not a problem for me).
Still, it does have decent lower back support, 3D handrails, a pleasant headrest, and overall I have no real problems with positioning these to make it as comfortable as possible.

During the review, I felt that the chair was currently discounted at $200/$190, which is more consistent with the budget price of the office chair – I think it’s an excellent price. You can also Amazon and other online retailers.

Boulies EP200: Design
The EP200 series is available in black or gray, with grid or cold adhesive seats available. Both models feature a tightly woven single-piece mesh backrest. I chose the grey mesh version for review and I found that there was no idea in the Home Office.
Design-wise, it’s the look of a classic office chair here). Smart and professional, it won’t be out of place at home or in the office, and I don’t have any complaints about my appearance. At 51 cm, the backrest itself is relatively wide compared to this price point, which makes it more practical for people with larger frames.
The back is similar around it with Y-shaped plastic support, and in NUB you will find adjustable waist support. The only sign of the decoration comes from a piece of silver plastic engraved with a boulies signature. This is a standalone piece, assembled after installation and is completely optional, depending on your taste.

Take about twenty minutes from start to finish and building the Boulies EP200 is as easy as anything I’ve tried. Insert the wheels into the aluminum base, secure the backrest to the seat, and secure the contoured headrest. Connect the armrests, lift the air to the base, and place the chair on the top. It all comes standard when it comes to office chairs.
Although the box was heavy, I had no problems when I dragged it upstairs to the office and assembled the entire unit myself. The included manual is simple and easy to follow, and if you have any experience putting the chairs together, you won’t have any trouble here.

I was impressed with the comfort of this office chair – in fact, I found a reason to sit on a table outside of work hours just to use it. I found that the hanging mesh seat company didn’t work too hard and supported it in all the right places.
As a guy with average height and buildings, I didn’t find the best spot here. Like all gas office chairs, you will find a lever under the seat to adjust the overall height. Pulling the lever outward unlocks the backrest so you can lean – just press the body and push back again until you find the right angle and lock it in place again. Simple stuff.
The second lever next to this is where you can control how far the seat can go, and I found that I had to move it forward moderately so that I could get into the lumbar support in the right position. After adjustments are made, the foam waist support is pushed into the grid to provide consistent lower back support.
I expect the unprocessed handrail to be a binding similar to the one that places the elbow on a warm concrete slab. However, I was surprised to find that the foam, while relatively thin and somewhat hardened, provided a good balance between comfort and support – just like the rest of the chair, fair. As typical 3D handrails, they can move up and down, back and forward, outward and inward.
However, I would like to see more adjustability options. Specifically, lumbar support can be repositioned in the horizontal plane by rotating the screw cover (but not vertically), which is useful for taller users. The headrest can also be moved up and down, but will not be forward, backward or tilted in any way. Maybe I’m greedy because at the price, I don’t think these deal-breakers.
Boulies EP200: Final Judgment
If you are looking for an ergonomic office chair that won’t break the bank, there are a lot to recommend about the Boulies EP200. It probably won’t boast about all the bells and whistles you find twice as much in the chair, and it’s great to have some extra adjustable points here and there. However, for modern, simple seating, I find it very comfortable and superbreathing even if used all day.
