Rochdale brothers deny assaulting police at Manchester Airport car park
The two brothers denied beating police officers during riots at Manchester Airport.
On July 23 last year, script footage in the airport terminal 2 building was widely shared online.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, and Muhammad Amaad, 25, of Rochdale, earlier at Liverpool Crown Court pleaded not guilty to them when he appeared in court.
The trial, which is expected to last three weeks, is scheduled to take place in the same court on June 30.
The court heard that Mr Amaaz allegedly attacked PC Zachary Marsden and PC Lydia Ward in the terminal’s parking lot Paystation, causing actual physical harm.
He was also accused of being attacked by PC Ellie Cook in the same incident and attacking a public at a nearby Starbucks Cafe.
Mr Amaad allegedly attacked PC Marsden, causing actual physical harm.
Their bail was extended after neither Tarnside Close’s men plead without guilt.
