Cameron Norrie: Briton wins to reach Delray Beach Open last eight
The second-ranked UK Cameron Norrie beat France’s fifth-seed Arthur Rinderknech to reach the quarterfinals of the Dela Beach Open in Florida.
The 29-year-old took the lead with a long first set victory but won the championship 7-6 (11-9) 6-2 in Game 2.
2022 champion Norrie has no seeds in the game and has dropped to 61 in the world rankings.
It only took him more than two hours to beat Rinder Knech in a tough game in Florida.
Norrie will face U.S. qualifiers Michael MMOH or Alex Michelsen in the past eight, ranking third in the past eight games.
