Womne’s FA Cup quarter-finals: Holders Man Utd to host second-tier Sunderland
Manchester United Women’s FA Cup holder Manchester United was attracted by Sunderland’s secondary Sunderland in the quarterfinals.
Sunderland is currently ranked sixth in the Women’s Championship and is the only side outside the Women’s Super League.
They will head to Leigh Sports Village to face Manchester United, which won the Women’s FA Cup for the first time in 2024, defeating Tottenham Hotspur in Wembley’s final.
The other three tie is full WSL affairs, see Champion and current leader Chelsea Host Club Club Crystal Palace.
The current top four of WSL are all attracted at home, with Manchester City hosting Aston Villa and 14-time champion Arsenal playing Liverpool.
The Women’s FA Cup quarterfinals will be held on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, 9 weekends.
