Prosecutor Bill Emlyn Jones KC told Ms. Kerr: “In the moment of expressing hostility to him, because you think his stupidity is his stupidity, you also choose to show that right. His hostility.”

Ms. Kerr replied: “That’s not what I mean.”

Mr. Emlyn Jones replied: “This is what you did, isn’t it?”

“That’s what I do, yes,” Ms. Kerr replied.

The prosecutor mentioned that she called PC Lovell “stupid and white” and asked Ms. Kerr: “What does his race have to do with anything?”

Ms. Kerr replied: “I think it was him who used his privileges and powers to me because he thought I was something I was not.”

Later, she added: “I tried to express that they would never experience what we just went through because of their strength and privilege because they were afraid of our lives.”

Court I heard it on Wednesday She swore to the police and said “it’s a racial thing.”

When asked about these comments, Ms. Kerr said: “I believe they treated me differently because they thought it was the color of my skin, especially the behavior of PC Lovell.

“He accused me of the way I lied and later arrested me for the crime, even though Christie said it was her (smashing the taxi window).

“At the time, I thought they were trying to put it on me.”

She added on Thursday: “(This is) the way he responded to me, cut me off, he called my name and looked down on me.”

Ms Kerr also said that in court, her view was influenced by how officials had their partner Ms. Mavis treated her.
