Namibia: Chinese Embassy Attends the Opening Ceremony of the Hoachanas Library in Hardap Region

On November 8, 2024, Minister Counselor Shen Jian attended the opening ceremony of the Hochanas Library in Hadap Region and read out the congratulatory letter from Ambassador Zhao Weiping. Dear. In his congratulatory message, Ambassador Zhao congratulated the opening of the Hochanas Library and introduced the successful bilateral meeting between President Xi Jinping and President Mbemba during the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. Ambassador Zhao said that China will continue to support Namibia’s social and economic development.

Minister Dausab spoke highly of the traditional friendship between China and Namibia and said that the library was built with small grants provided by the Chinese Embassy, ​​the Ministry of Justice of Namibia and the Bank of Namibia. She thanked the Chinese Embassy for its contribution to local education and hoped that local people, especially students, would make full use of the library’s resources.
