Cristiano Ronaldo: ‘No impossibilities’ as Portugal forward turns 40
It is impossible to predict that Ronaldo will complete everything he has, but there is a mentality from the beginning.
“I remember we were going to embark on the court and faced Manchester United (in 2003 in the friendly match of Alvalade), the two teams were in line-with (Ryan) GIGGS, Paul Scholes and Ruud, Fan Niuster Joo Aroso, who was a sports fitness coach at the time, told BBC Sport.
“And you want Cristiano, then 18 -year -old, even glanced at them.
“This illustrates his personality.”
Ronaldo will go from there to Manchester United, then reach Real Madrid, and finally go to Juventus, winning five D’OR, which can be said to be the greatest player of Portugal.
Former Manchester United performance coach Mick Clegg told BBC Radio 5 Live Football every day: “Since cooperating with Ronaldo, I have been studying great people. I think the Cristiano Ronaldo (Leonardo Da Vinci), Albert, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesler and Stephen Hawking.
“In his first meeting when he came to Manchester United, he said ‘I will be the best player in the world’, which is shocking. He is unique.
“His plan is to get all the information from those who want to guide him and challenge them. All his thoughts are to create excellent things.
“Christiano is made of blood and bones. Maybe people like him? I just hope that someone will bring things like him, but they are so far away.”
Ronaldo participated in more than 30 % of the national team’s history. But more importantly, he changed a team’s view that the team has always made them return to the past with inferiority.
“Cristiano is one of them.” He also served as a Portuguese assistant coach and is currently part of the employees of the Korean national team.
“He defines a style in all aspects. His ruthless ambition breaks the age of the record and he continues to play. Just as Maradona is unique, because Bailey is unique, because (Leoner) Messi is unique, and Kristiano is so for his own reason.
“What I want to emphasize is that for Portugal, it is very important to have players like Christiano. We are a small country and rarely have global impact outside football.
“He allows our small country to be widely known globally because of great things-because Christiano and all active things he represent.”
It doesn’t seem to have much doubt-as long as the 2016 European and European Cup Portuguese qualifications, he will participate in the 2026 World Cup. The real question mark was whether he could be in 2030, when the country would co -host it.
“I have no doubt (he can do it). He will continue to eat, where, slim, slim,” the forward nani said with a smile.
