US Postal Service stops accepting parcels from China

Trump’s administrative order canceled an exemption that allowed the goods to be valued at $ 800 (£ 641) or less without paying responsibilities or certain taxes.

In recent years, as Chinese e -commerce giants such as Shein and TEMU use it to attract millions of American customers, the so -called “minimum restrictions” tax loopholes are increasingly increasingly reviewed.

Respond China said it will impose tariffs on some US imports.

From February 10, coal and liquefied natural gas products (LNG) will face 15 % taxation. Crude oil, agricultural machinery and large cars will suffer 10 % tariffs.

President Trump is expected to talk to his Chinese opponent 11 in the next few days.

Trade expert Deborah Elms said: “If you used e -commerce to transport goods directly from China to the United States, Trump’s tariff changes are particularly obvious.”

According to a report from the Chinese Congress of the United States Congress, nearly half of the parcels sent from China.

U.S. officials pointed out that through this exemption, a large number of packages entering the country make them more and more difficult to use them for possible illegal goods.

The Broadcasting Corporation has contacted USPS and asked more details about the decision.
