Serving With Mercy Ships: A Journey of Hope and Growth
Serve with a compassion ship (www.mercyships.org. For a young man Josoa Mino from Madagascar, when the staff opened the door for the opportunity he had never thought of that day, he joined the Mercy Ship.
In December last year, Africa Mercy® left TOAMASINA in Madagascar to South Africa and she maintained it. When some crew members stayed on the boat, the staff members returned home all day to celebrate Christmas with their families. Josoa Mino is one of them. Since February last year, he has been an indispensable part of the Mercy Ships community. He worked unremittingly in the deck department when he lived with his mother and young cousin and sisters near the port.
A community that changes in the heart

Josoa Mino returned home and continued to live with his mother, but he had a huge plan for the future. “I want to convert our house into two independent rooms to give us more privacy. I have developed a plan and I hope to start studying it.”
