Evan Ferguson transfer: Brighton striker joins West Ham on loan for rest of season
Evan Ferguson, the Brighton striker, joined West Ham during the rest of this season.
The striker of the Republic of Ireland will contact his former Brighton manager Graham Potter, who first appeared at the club in 2021 to Ferguson.
The 20 -year -old Ferguson only appeared 15 times this season, 11 of which came from the bench.
Ferguson said to West Ham TV: “I can see and know the greatness of West Ham United. This is a great opportunity for me. I know Gaffer very well and look forward to working with him again.”
“I want to come in for the club, goals, and see where we arrive.”
In recent weeks, Ferguson was bound for ankle injury, but returned on Saturday to start in the 73rd minute of Brighton 7-0 loss In Nottingham Forest.
His only goal this season and the first goal since November 2023 were wandering in Wolf Hampton with 2-2 in October.
