Why Vicky Pattison Created Her Own Deepfake Porn Video
Deepfake porn — which often combines real faces with fake, explicit bodies — is becoming increasingly common.
A new documentary from Channel 4 on Tuesday, Vicki Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tapeaims to explore this issue and its impact on women and girls.
In one, the 37-year-old former Geordie Shore star created a deepfake porn video of herself and posted it on social media.
The video appears to show Vicky having sex with a man, first wearing a bra and then topless.
She admitted to BBC News that posting her video might seem “counterintuitive” but said she was trying to emphasize the urgency of the issue.
Pattison said it took her a long time to work up the courage to click “post” on X because she knew it would be the “point of no return.”
“What shocked me most was how helpless I felt after it was released – it gave me a glimpse into the experience of powerlessness for victims,” she said.
“By putting myself in this position, even in a controlled and consensual way, I want to bring awareness to how vulnerable we all are”.
Is this the end of the weekend?
Whenever I think of The Weeknd, I always think of “Blinding Lights”—a song forever etched in my mind from TikTok dances and the dark days of the pandemic.
But his new album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” due out Friday, may be the last music he releases as his alter ego for a long time.
last year, he told W magazine He wants to “kill The Weeknd” but still make music.
Soon after, He regained his birth name Abel Tesfaye on his social media accounts.
So what will The Weeknd’s musical final chapter sound like? There’s plenty to look forward to – including guest appearances from rapper Playboi Carti and Brazilian singer Anitta.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste stars in “The Hard Truth”
By Steven McIntosh, entertainment reporter
Most people find January depressing. To me, this is the best month of the year.
At this point, movie awards season has begun, which means the movies showing in theaters are of a higher quality than the summer popcorn blockbusters.
One of this year’s UK contenders is cruel truthstarring actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
It focuses on Pansy, an angry woman who often gets into fights with those around her. Her eternal misery is fun to watch, but her bad mood is clearly taking a toll on her family. The word depression isn’t explicitly mentioned, but it’s clear Pansy is struggling.
At a screening in October, I was struck by the impact The Hard Truth had on the audience. The film is relatively short at 95 minutes, but the film packs a punch that punches well above its weight.
In an interview with BBC News in December, Jean-Baptiste reflected: “Pansy was born into a generation that was taught to just go with the flow. It was like the generation before Oprah, self-help—it was all before that. You just say, ‘I feel like I’m Trash, but I gotta do the laundry. Get up and get on with it.”
Another Diddy Doctor
It wasn’t long before documentaries about Sean “Diddy” Combs began to hit theaters.
latest, Didi’s fallwhich will air on discovery+ in the UK and Ireland on Tuesday.
The four-part series promises to “unmask” the music mogul and features more than 30 interviews, including those who have accused him of abuse.
Mr. Combs was arrested last year and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.
He also received multiple lawsuits from multiple men and women.
Mr Coombs has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His legal team has repeatedly maintained his innocence.
Who is hired? The apprentice is back
A pizza company owner and a hair transplant consultant walk into the boardroom…
This isn’t the beginning of a bad joke, but something you can see at the beginning of BBC One apprenticewill return on Thursday.
18 new candidates are vying for a chance to invest £250,000 and be mentored by business tycoon Lord Sugar.
Get ready for weeks of assignments, layoffs, and cringe-worthy moments.
In previous series, the two teams were separated by gender in early missions. But this year, the teams were mixed-gender from the start.
This change was not prompted by the casting of non-binary contestants. Instead, the BBC said it simply wanted to update the format.
But this format tweak does forestall potential casting issues for producers in the years to come.
