Joe Allen says that despite Harry Wilson not establishing himself at Liverpool, it’s clear Wales’ new talisman will be an “excellent player” from their time together.
Midfielder Wilson, 27, became the first Welshman since Gareth Bale to score in three consecutive international matches.
All of those goals came during Wales’ Nations League campaign, which begins with a crucial match against Türkiye on Saturday and a final game against Iceland in Cardiff.
“Where Harry is now is where we all expected him to be. I was with him at Liverpool when he was a young kid and it was clear he was going to be a great player and have a great career. career,” Allen said
