Eritrea: Regular Meeting of Gash Barka Region Assembly
The Gash Barka Regional Assembly held its 22nd regular meeting on January 23 in Barentu. During the meeting, the parliament expressed its readiness to strengthen the role of its members in planning plans for 2025.
The President of the General Assembly, Mr. Osman Mohammed-Ali, stressed the importance of strengthening the participation of members in the implementation of development, emphasizing its readiness to play its due role in the implementation of recommendations adopted in previous meetings and in addressing challenges. program. Participants reviewed the achievements and challenges encountered during the implementation of the 2024 plan and adopted a number of recommendations for improvements.
The region’s governor, Ambassador Mahmud Ali Hirui, urged members of parliament to take leadership in the implementation of the regional plan.
