Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu Visited and Extended Chinese New Year Greetings to the Overseas Chinese in Liberia
On January 21st, as the Lunar Year of the Snake approaches, Ambassador Yin Chengwu visited Chinese-funded enterprises in Liberia, aid China medical teams and aid project teams, Confucius Institutes and individual Chinese businessmen, and distributed condolences. A New Year gift package will be given away on site.
Ambassador Yin conveyed the concern of the party and the government to the overseas Chinese in Liberia and extended New Year blessings. At the same time, he learned about the production and operation conditions of various institutions and the working and living conditions of employees. He emphasized that the embassy will continue to uphold the “people-centered diplomatic concept” and provide better services to Liberian overseas Chinese. Ambassador Yin also praised and encouraged the overseas Chinese in Liberia to contribute to the promotion of friendly relations between China and Liberia.
Overseas Chinese in Liberia expressed their gratitude to the party and government for their care, saying that the New Year celebrations made them truly feel the warmth of their motherland. In the new year, they will continue to work together and make new contributions to the friendly cooperation between China and Liberia.
