Much of the new content previously planned for this season has been moved back to address issues developer Treyarch said “Basic Questions” and war zones.
Weapon swap speed, reload speed, jump speed, parachute transitions, and audio clarity have all been changed to create a fairer experience. Targeted bug fixes will also address map visibility, extra performance, and weapon interaction issues.
SR gains and losses will also be adjusted for a better ranking experience, giving players a fairer chance to climb the ladder. New calling cards, badges, stickers, camos, and blueprints have also been added as Warzone ranked game rewards.
However, two new perks will be added to Warzone Season 2. The reactive armor bonus will be available at launch and will allow players who have not taken damage in the past 5 seconds to recover up to 50% of their armor. The Low Profile perk will be added mid-season, allowing players to move faster while downed or prone.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 launched with multiplayer-centric content, followed by Zombies-centric content mid-season, and the launch of Season 2 will see the release of maps for both multiplayer modes .
Multiplayer
The new season will introduce three new multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealer, and Lifeline. Each map has some connection to the Lutazzi family and reflects the theme of the season.
Two additional maps, “Bullet” and “Grind”, will be added in the mid-season update. Grind is a returning map in the Black Ops 2 DLC pack, continuing the trend of Black Ops series maps making a comeback in Black Ops 6 – there is rumored to be one “Extra surprise” This map has been linked to sometime in the mid-season patch, but there are no details yet on what that might be.
Overdrive, a new team deathmatch adjacent mode, has players fighting to reach the star cap before the enemy team does. Regular eliminations award one star, but headshots and melee kills award two stars. Special eliminations and killstreaks earn players three stars.
Players who string together kills quickly enough will receive buffs including wall hacking, health regeneration, increased movement and reload speed, improved hip-fire accuracy, and improved sprint-fire and aiming speed.
Season 1 reintroduced the fan-favorite Prop Hunt party game playlist, and now Season 2 is reintroducing the Gun Game. In this game mode, players can work their way through the game’s arsenal, with each kill earning them new weapons. Being killed by a knife will demote the player to the previous gun.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, “Third Wheel Gunfight” will allow players to compete in a competitive mode with a team of three, while the “Couples Dance Off” mode is a gunfight mode designed for two people.
Two new Enforcer perks have been added to multiplayer. The Slipstream bonus increases base sprint speed at the expense of Tactical Dash, while the Hunter’s Instinct bonus marks your closest enemy after elimination. The new Flyswatter wildcard allows players to swap out dedicated melee weapons for launchers.
The War Machine Grenade Launcher returns with a 1,300 point streak. The latest version of Burst Game contains 30 grenades and three rounds of burst fire.

zombie
new zombie map, gravewhich will be released at the start of its second season. Officials also confirmed that the Origin Ice Staff will be returning soon. In addition to new Easter eggs that advance the Dark Aether storyline, the new map appears to include the Abomination, Amalgam, and Doppelgänger zombie variants introduced in previous maps.
A new variant of the Mimic Zombie, the Shock Mimic, will make its debut in Tombs. This zombie disguises itself as a useful object to lure players in, then lashes out with static discharges that cause damage, obscure vision, and disrupt the mini-map.
The next perk in Black Ops 6 is Death Sense, a returning perk for zombies from Black Ops 4. This perk allows players to see zombies through walls and other obstacles, which will be helpful in the tight confines of the tomb. New enhancements will allow players to power up weapon mods, critical hits, or farm more Essences early in the game.
There will also be three new GobbleGums introduced at the start of Season 2. The epic Dead Drop GobbleGum increases salvage and equipment drop rates for five minutes. This GobbleGum will likely see a lot of use in the high-turn zombies community, where players often rely on a strategy of using a lot of rescues quickly.
The legendary Improved Chaos GobbleGum greatly reduces the cooldown of all ammo mods for two minutes. If you’re into that, the whimsical Quacknarok GobbleGum adds rubber ducky inner tubes to all zombies for three minutes.
DeveloperTreyarch teased before The fan-favorite zombie SMG is back – and as shown in the Season 2 trailer, it’s PPSh-41.
All weapons and attachments added to multiplayer and Warzone in Season 2 will also be available in Zombies, and Gears of War score records will also be available in that mode.
