Mamadou Sarr: Chelsea agree £11.9m deal with Strasbourg for French defender
Chelsea are set to sign French defender Mamadou Sarr from partner club Strasbourg.
The 19-year-old centre-back, who has made just 14 appearances for Strasbourg and is worth £11.9m, is expected to join in the summer.
It is the first permanent move to Stamford Bridge for Strasbourg, a club owned by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s BlueCo.
Ligue 1 side Strasbourg made a quick profit of £3.4m when they signed Sarr from Lyon for just £8.5m in the summer.
