Juovi J2621 20000mAh 45W Power Bank review: a multiport beast that puts power before portability
Juovi J2621 20000mAh 45W power bank review
Juovi J2621 is a 45W power bank with a large 20,000mAh capacity and four ports for versatile, long-lasting charging performance. It’s certainly a heavy brick, but luckily it’s not as heavy as it looks. This means it’s easy to carry around in the back, but not slim enough to fit in a pocket.
Overall, its design is fairly anonymous, although the two-tone color scheme adds some interest. With only a single power button, the J2621 doesn’t let any clutter ruin its minimalist style, but ultimately, the J2621 isn’t going to win any style awards.
Build quality can’t compete with some best power bankbecause the chassis will bend a little when pressed, and the front and rear panels have protruding connections that feel sharp.
However, the display is a feature that looks pretty smart. Since there’s no glass screen, it’s unnoticeable when inactive; instead, it glows through the chassis when turned on. It also means no fragile glass will get scratched or cracked, which is reassuring.
The USB-C port provides up to 45W of power. Charge Google The Pixel 7a took just over an hour to go from half to full, which is about average performance. However, thanks to its large 20,000mAh capacity, the J2621 only uses 16% of its battery, which means you should be able to charge it about 6 times.
On the other hand, the maximum power of each USB-A port is only 30W. Charging the Pixel 7a this way is inevitably slower, taking close to two hours, and the J2621 drained 17% of its battery.
There’s also a trickle charging mode designed for low-current devices like earbuds and smartwatches. It is easily activated by pressing the power button twice and an indicator will appear on the display.
The J2621 itself takes just over an hour to charge from 70%, which is not bad considering its large capacity.
Ultimately, if you need large capacity and port options, the J2621 is a worthy choice. It cripples some other power banks, including from AnkerWhile it’s not as well designed as its competitors and isn’t as portable, it’s still a versatile power bank.
