Scottish Cup: Dundee derby in numbers & graphics as rivals meet at Dens Park
Both sides have history in this game.
Dundee lifted the famous trophy for the only time in 1910, beating Clyde 2-0 in the second replay, having previously drawn 2-2 and 0-0 in the final.
Since then, the Dark Blues have reached four finals but lost all of them, most recently in 2003 when Lorenzo Amoruso’s goal helped Rangers win 1-0.
United, meanwhile, have won the title twice but failed at the final hurdle at least eight times.
In the 1994 final against Rangers, Craig Brewster scored the only goal of the game from close range after Christian Dailly hit the post, winning for the Orange. won the first Scottish Cup title.
Their most recent victory came in 2010, with Craig Conway scoring twice in a 3-0 win over Ross County.
The Tannadice club last reached the final in 2014, but were beaten 2-0 by St Johnstone at Celtic Park.
