A hero, he lived and raised a family in another country, but famously was on a deserted golf course when England won the World Cup.
In 1967, when we beat England at Wembley, he fell out with Jim Baxter, another master of the trade.
James wanted to use keepy uppy and nutmeg to extract urine. But the 9-3 humiliation of 1961 didn’t involve our Clown Prince, but the King.
Dennis wanted to drive the nail into their coffin.
They should rest the great man in a dark blue round-neck long-sleeved shirt with “10” printed on the back.
I’m just imagining him giving up on another goal right now.

At first he hated Jonathan Watson’s caricature of him in Only One Excuse, but then he grew so fed up with it that at the 1990 World Cup in Italy, when I persuaded him on TV to play Enforcer, he agreed to sneak up on the little man.
